Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work French Exotic Treasures by Jean-Paul Sinibaldi for USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,784.73). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art including The Orientalist Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Paul Sinibaldi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Salammbô - 1885 in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 182,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit French Exotic Treasures von Jean-Paul Sinibaldi für USD 18.750,00 (€ 14.784,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art including The Orientalist Sale bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Paul Sinibaldi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Salammbô - 1885 im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 182.000,00.
