The work Port-Au-Persil by Jean-Paul Lemieux was sold in the Important Canadian Art auction at Sothebys in Toronto in June 2010. It achieved a price of CAD 65,750.00 (€ 50,434.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Paul Lemieux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Country Club in November 2011 with an auction result of CAD 1,095,000.00 (€ 797,991.53).

Die Arbeit Port-Au-Persil von Jean-Paul Lemieux wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion Important Canadian Art bei Sothebys in Toronto versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CAD 65.750,00 (€ 50.434,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Paul Lemieux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Country Club im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CAD 1.095.000,00 (€ 797.991,53).
