Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work The path home by Jean-Paul Haag for GBP 470.00 (€ 747.92). This price was achieved in the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jean-Paul Haag have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A helping hand in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 3,107.00 (€ 4,624.15).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Paul Haag auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A helping hand im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.107,00 (€ 4.624,15).
