Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Carres Colles 1 - 1982 by Jean-Michel Meurice was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art 2 auction at Artcurial in June 2016. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,250.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Michel Meurice have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (2 Corner Pieces) in May 2021 with an auction result of EUR 30,240.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Carres Colles 1 - 1982 von Jean-Michel Meurice wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art 2 bei Artcurial versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.250,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Michel Meurice auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (2 Corner Pieces) im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.240,00.
