Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Bonhams in New York held the auction Prints (online), which included the work Roland Garros, 1982 by Jean-Michel Folon. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 204.80. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Michel Folon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Je Me Souviens - 2003 in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 182,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Prints (online) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Roland Garros, 1982 von Jean-Michel Folon zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 204,80 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Michel Folon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Je Me Souviens - 2003 im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 182.800,00.
