Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Homme Au Chapeau Porte-Manteau - 1970 by Jean-Michel Folon was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in June last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,872.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Michel Folon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Je Me Souviens - 2003 in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 182,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'Homme Au Chapeau Porte-Manteau - 1970 von Jean-Michel Folon wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.872,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Michel Folon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Je Me Souviens - 2003 im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 182.800,00.
