Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Génisses informationnelles - 1971 by Jean Messagier was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 18,368.00 22% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Messagier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Labours à ciel, which sold at auction in June last year for EUR 40,320.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Génisses informationnelles - 1971 von Jean Messagier wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 18.368,00 und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean Messagier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Labours à ciel beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für EUR 40.320,00 versteigert wurde.
