Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Lake Lugano, Italy by Jean-Marc Dunant-Vallier. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 778.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jean-Marc Dunant-Vallier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lac Léman avec vue sur les Dents du Midi. in November 2017 with an auction result of CHF 5,625.00 (€ 4,805.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lake Lugano, Italy von Jean-Marc Dunant-Vallier zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 625,00 (€ 778,72) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Marc Dunant-Vallier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lac Léman avec vue sur les Dents du Midi. im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 5.625,00 (€ 4.805,22).
