In December last year Il Ponte held the auction 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work Rue de Rivoli. Paris by Jean Louis Lefort. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,000.00 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jean Louis Lefort have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vue Présumée De L'Atelier De Gérôme in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 4,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rue de Rivoli. Paris von Jean Louis Lefort zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.000,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Louis Lefort auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vue Présumée De L'Atelier De Gérôme im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.800,00.
