Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Leppien auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition Abstraite, 1949 im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.279,00.
