Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Herbier N°74 - 1997 by Jean Le Gac was auctioned at Artcurial in April 2016. The price achieved of EUR 1,300.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Jean Le Gac have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le délassement d'un peintre parisien (avec bohême) in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 12,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'Herbier N°74 - 1997 von Jean Le Gac kam im April 2016 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.300,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Le Gac auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le délassement d'un peintre parisien (avec bohême) im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.250,00.
