Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2014 Artcurial held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, which included the work L'Architecte by Jean-Ignace-Isidore Gérard. The price achieved of EUR 2,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Ignace-Isidore Gérard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Un Après-Midi Au Jardin Des Tuileries in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 110,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Architecte von Jean-Ignace-Isidore Gérard zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Ignace-Isidore Gérard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Un Après-Midi Au Jardin Des Tuileries im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 110.500,00.
