However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Henri-Alexandre Pernet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ruines Classiques Animées, which sold at auction in March 2012 for EUR 18,019.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.634,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean-Henri-Alexandre Pernet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ruines Classiques Animées beobachtet, die im März 2012 für EUR 18.019,00 versteigert wurde.
