Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A capriccio of classical buildings with elegant ladies by a spring; and A classical landscape with figures by a capriccio view of Trajan's Column by Jean-Henri-Alexandre Pernet was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,057.50 (€ 1,623.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Henri-Alexandre Pernet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ruines Classiques Animées in March 2012 with an auction result of EUR 18,019.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A capriccio of classical buildings with elegant ladies by a spring; and A classical landscape with figures by a capriccio view of Trajan's Column von Jean-Henri-Alexandre Pernet kam im Dezember 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
