In December 2008 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Pictures (Day Sale), which included the work Portrait of a lady, said to be Marie-Madeleine Guimard, called Mademoiselle Guimard, ballerina of the Paris Opéra (1743-1816), full-length, in a pink-and-white dress with a yellow sash and a feathered hat, holding a fan by Jean-Frédéric Schall. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 10,502.91) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Frédéric Schall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Hives Of Cupids in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,702.47).

Im Dezember 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Pictures (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, said to be Marie-Madeleine Guimard, called Mademoiselle Guimard, ballerina of the Paris Opéra (1743-1816), full-length, in a pink-and-white dress with a yellow sash and a feathered hat, holding a fan von Jean-Frédéric Schall zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 10.502,91) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Frédéric Schall auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Hives Of Cupids im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.702,47).
