Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Sothebys in Paris held the auction Lorenz Bäumer Collectionneur !, which included the work Le confinement rose, 2021 by Jean François Fortchantre. The price achieved of EUR 1,386.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Jean François Fortchantre have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May last year the work Toits sous la neige, 2018 was auctioned for EUR 1,512.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Lorenz Bäumer Collectionneur ! durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le confinement rose, 2021 von Jean François Fortchantre zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.386,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jean François Fortchantre konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai letzten Jahres die Arbeit Toits sous la neige, 2018 für EUR 1.512,00 versteigert.
