Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Six compositions All signed J by Jean Deyrolle was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 6,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 3,200.00 (€ 429.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Deyrolle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bruce. 1956. in June last year with an auction result of CHF 13,720.00 (€ 13,722.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Six compositions All signed J von Jean Deyrolle im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 6.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 3.200,00 (€ 429,26) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Deyrolle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bruce. 1956. im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 13.720,00 (€ 13.722,62).
