Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2007 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings, which included the work A group of figures playing music under a pergola by Jean Cousin the Younger. The price achieved of GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,258.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Jean Cousin the Younger have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2020 the work A river landscape with an ancient town was auctioned for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,549.06).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.258,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jean Cousin the Younger konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2020 die Arbeit A river landscape with an ancient town für GBP 17.500,00 (€ 19.549,06) versteigert.
