Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'accompagnateur by Jean-Claude Silbermann was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in October 2021. The price achieved of EUR 1,402.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Claude Silbermann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Seer, which sold at auction in November 2018 for USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,195.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'accompagnateur von Jean-Claude Silbermann kam im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.402,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean-Claude Silbermann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Seer beobachtet, die im November 2018 für USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.195,00) versteigert wurde.
