The work Maquette De Sculpture by Jean Chauvin was auctioned at Artcurial in October 2012. It achieved a price of EUR 3,089.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 54 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Chauvin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition surréaliste (Femme nue), which sold at auction in May 2005 for EUR 11,760.00.

Die Arbeit Maquette De Sculpture von Jean Chauvin kam im Oktober 2012 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.089,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 54 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean Chauvin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition surréaliste (Femme nue) beobachtet, die im Mai 2005 für EUR 11.760,00 versteigert wurde.
