Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 2,091.91). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Charles Delafosse - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Caricatures De Médecins, which sold at auction in . for EUR 7,800.00.

Die Arbeit Designs For Two Trophies And A Cartouche; And Another Drawing Of The Same Subject von Jean-Charles Delafosse wurde im Dezember 2014 in der Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 2.091,91) einen neuen Besitzer.
