Admittedly, works by Jean Capeinick have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Assorted Flowers with Grapes, Strawberries, Peaches and a Pumpkin in a Tropical Garden; Tropical Plants and Flowers before a Balustrade in April 2003 with an auction result of USD 22,705.00 (€ 18,489.41).
