Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings and European Works of Art, which included the work A View Of Loch Lomond, Scotland, With Figures On A Path In The Foreground by Jean-Bruno Gassies. The price achieved of USD 12,000.00 (€ 9,232.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Bruno Gassies achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Castor And Pollux Rescuing Helen in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 106,250.00 (€ 94,109.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings and European Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A View Of Loch Lomond, Scotland, With Figures On A Path In The Foreground von Jean-Bruno Gassies zur Versteigerung kam.
