The work Les Amants Heureux by Jean-Baptiste Pater was sold in the Old Master and British Paintings auction at Christies in London in October 2014. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 15,162.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Pater achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Bathers; The Swing in January 2003 with an auction result of USD 669,500.00 (€ 623,428.62).

Die Arbeit Les Amants Heureux von Jean-Baptiste Pater wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Old Master and British Paintings bei Christies in London versteigert.
