In January 2003 Christies in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings, which included the work The Bathers; The Swing by Jean-Baptiste Pater. Here, the upper estimate of USD 600,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 669,500.00 (€ 623,428.62). With this result, The Bathers; The Swing is even the most expensive work of art by Jean-Baptiste Pater that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Januar 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Bathers; The Swing von Jean-Baptiste Pater zur Versteigerung kam.
