Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2015 Sothebys in Paris held the auction En association avec Artcurial, which included the work La Danse Et La Balançoire by Jean-Baptiste Pater. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 339,000.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Jean-Baptiste Pater have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2003 the work The Bathers; The Swing was auctioned for USD 669,500.00 (€ 623,428.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2015 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion En association avec Artcurial durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Danse Et La Balançoire von Jean-Baptiste Pater zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 339.000,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Pater konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Januar 2003 die Arbeit The Bathers; The Swing für USD 669.500,00 (€ 623.428,62) versteigert.
