A top price for Jean Baptiste Gallet - as previously expected
The work Tulips, roses, an iris, morning glory, a hydrangea and other flowers in a classical urn on a plinth with grapes, redcurrants, peaches and a pomegranate by Jean Baptiste Gallet was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2004. The price achieved of GBP 17,925.00 (€ 25,368.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Tulips, roses, an iris, morning glory, a hydrangea and other flowers in a classical urn on a plinth with grapes, redcurrants, peaches and a pomegranate is the most expensive artwork by Jean Baptiste Gallet that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Tulips, roses, an iris, morning glory, a hydrangea and other flowers in a classical urn on a plinth with grapes, redcurrants, peaches and a pomegranate von Jean Baptiste Gallet kam im Dezember 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
