Auction result misses estimated price range

In the Important Old Master Paintings and European Works of Art Including Property of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery auction, the work Still Life With Chrysanthemums, Morning Glory, A Tulip And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase Resting On A Ledge changed hands for USD 24,000.00 (€ 17,751.48) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Baptiste Belin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Buste de Bacchus entouré d'une guirlande de fleurs, avec une corbeille de fruits, de la vaisselle précieuse et deux personnages in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 138,500.00.
