Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2002 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Fond memories by Jean Arnould Heyermans. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,760.00 (€ 5,887.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean Arnould Heyermans have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Festival of flowers in October 2001 with an auction result of USD 30,550.00 (€ 33,970.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fond memories von Jean Arnould Heyermans zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.760,00 (€ 5.887,97) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Arnould Heyermans auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Festival of flowers im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.550,00 (€ 33.970,87).
