In October 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Convention Of Conventions 4 by Jayson Oliveria. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 21,250.00 (€ 2,392.78), 42% above the upper estimate. Other works by Jayson Oliveria have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,661.61) in April 2016 for the work (I) Where Did You Put The Brush, Where Did You Put The Paint (Ii) Untitled I (Palm).
