Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Wildhorses by Janos Viski for GBP 180.00 (€ 265.74). This price was achieved in the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Janos Viski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Final Furlong in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 4,375.00 (€ 2,978.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Wildhorses von Janos Viski für GBP 180,00 (€ 265,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Janos Viski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Final Furlong im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 2.978,62).
