The work Pirano by János Vaszary was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 40,320.00 (€ 47,339.47), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Admittedly, works by János Vaszary have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bucht von Rapallo. 1934. in December last year with an auction result of CHF 354,100.00 (€ 358,171.26).

Die Arbeit Pirano von János Vaszary kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 40.320,00 (€ 47.339,47) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von János Vaszary auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bucht von Rapallo. 1934. im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 354.100,00 (€ 358.171,26).
