The work Rendered Mind Games by Janet Balbarona was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. The price achieved of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 5,859.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 45,000.00 – 65,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Rendered Mind Games is the most expensive artwork by Janet Balbarona that we have observed at auctions so far.
