Auction result misses estimated price range

In the Modern & Contemporary Art | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Untitled 11 x 15 in. (27.9 x 38.1 cm) framed 20 x 23 3/4 x 1 in. changed hands for USD 896.00 (€ 821.42) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Voss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work September - 1984 in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 52,000.00.
