Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Abstract composition by Jan Verschoor for EUR 1,875.00. This price was achieved in the auction The Sculpture Sale at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Verschoor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Evenwicht, which sold at auction in November 2007 for EUR 5,625.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Abstract composition von Jan Verschoor für EUR 1.875,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Sculpture Sale bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Verschoor mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Evenwicht beobachtet, die im November 2007 für EUR 5.625,00 versteigert wurde.
