In September 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Botters heading out to open sea by Jan van der Linde. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,680.00. With this result, Botters heading out to open sea is even the most expensive work of art by Jan van der Linde that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Jan van der Linde
Im September 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Botters heading out to open sea von Jan van der Linde zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.680,00 einen neuen Besitzer.
