Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A nude posing by Jan Sluijters Jun. was sold in the PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2005. The price achieved of EUR 1,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Sluijters Jun. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Place Saint André des Arts, Paris in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 7,500.00.
