The work Sans titre, 1952 by Jan Saverys was sold in the Prints (online) auction at Bonhams in New York in October this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 166.40 39% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Saverys achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition abstraite in June this year with an auction result of EUR 1,920.00.

Die Arbeit Sans titre, 1952 von Jan Saverys wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints (online) bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 166,40 und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Saverys erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition abstraite im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.920,00.
