Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective, which included the work Progression (Variation Ii, 1989) by Jan Kubíček. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,484.89). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Kubíček - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Aktion mit Kreiselementen und Halbkreisen, II."., which sold at auction in November last year for EUR 66,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Progression (Variation Ii, 1989) von Jan Kubíček zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.484,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Kubíček mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Aktion mit Kreiselementen und Halbkreisen, II.". beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für EUR 66.000,00 versteigert wurde.
