Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Cows in a meadow by Jan Kobell III. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,585.00 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jan Kobell III have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An extensive landscape with cattle near a barn in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 16,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cows in a meadow von Jan Kobell III zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.585,00 und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Kobell III auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An extensive landscape with cattle near a barn im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.800,00.
