Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2007 Christies in London held the auction The Sunday Sale, which included the work Unknown by Jan Josef Horemans the Younger. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,734.16), 20% above the upper estimate. Other works by Jan Josef Horemans the Younger have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 29,875.00 (€ 38,925.08) in April 2003 for the work Cauliflower, onions, peaches, cherries, artichokes, roses in a glass vase, a jug, a basket with carrots, cabbages and eggs with a blue cloth on a table.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Sunday Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Jan Josef Horemans the Younger zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 18.000,00 (€ 26.734,16) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Jan Josef Horemans the Younger haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.875,00 (€ 38.925,08) im April 2003 für die Arbeit Cauliflower, onions, peaches, cherries, artichokes, roses in a glass vase, a jug, a basket with carrots, cabbages and eggs with a blue cloth on a table beobachtet.
