Here, the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 6,572.50. Admittedly, works by Jan Josef Horemans the Younger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cauliflower, onions, peaches, cherries, artichokes, roses in a glass vase, a jug, a basket with carrots, cabbages and eggs with a blue cloth on a table in April 2003 with an auction result of GBP 29,875.00 (€ 38,925.08).
