A top price for Jan Jansz. den Uyl the Elder - as previously expected
In July last year Christies in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work Pewter jug and silver tazza on a table by Jan Jansz. den Uyl the Elder. The price achieved of GBP 3,142,500.00 (€ 3,752,703.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500,000.00 – 3,500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Pewter jug and silver tazza on a table is the most expensive artwork by Jan Jansz. den Uyl the Elder that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pewter jug and silver tazza on a table von Jan Jansz. den Uyl the Elder zur Versteigerung kam.
