Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Jan Janssonius could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work “Selandiæ in Regno Daniæ insulæ Chorographica Descriptio” changed hands for DKK 1,200.00 (€ 160.95) - just shy of the DKK 2,000.00 estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Janssonius - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work “Regni Daniæ”, which sold at auction in April this year for DKK 2,500.00 (€ 335.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Janssonius konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit “Selandiæ in Regno Daniæ insulæ Chorographica Descriptio” für DKK 1.200,00 (€ 160,95) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Janssonius mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit “Regni Daniæ” beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für DKK 2.500,00 (€ 335,37) versteigert wurde.
