In the Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolours auction, the work The Idolatry of Solomon sold for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,387.55) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Erasmus Quellinus - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jacob And His Family On The Way To Canaan, which sold at auction in November 2015 for EUR 51,900.00.

In der Auktion Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolours wurde die Arbeit The Idolatry of Solomon für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.387,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Erasmus Quellinus mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jacob And His Family On The Way To Canaan beobachtet, die im November 2015 für EUR 51.900,00 versteigert wurde.
