Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Utan titel, 1978 by Jan Bengtsson for SEK 5,000.00 (€ 513.39). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Bengtsson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Nude nr 2", 1995, which sold at auction in May 2012 for SEK 14,500.00 (€ 1,531.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Utan titel, 1978 von Jan Bengtsson für SEK 5.000,00 (€ 513,39) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Bengtsson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Nude nr 2", 1995 beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für SEK 14.500,00 (€ 1.531,62) versteigert wurde.
