Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2019 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online, which included the work Waitin' for Orders by James Nathan Muir. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,208.37). Admittedly, works by James Nathan Muir have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work June 25, 1876 in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,041.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2019 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Waitin' for Orders von James Nathan Muir zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.208,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von James Nathan Muir auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit June 25, 1876 im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.041,83).
