In December 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work View Of Jerusalem by James Fairman. The result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 56,861.26) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, View Of Jerusalem is the most expensive artwork by James Fairman that we have observed at auctions so far.
