In September 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Travel & Exploration, which included the work 'The Ridge And Fort Of Jytock'; 'Country To The Nortwhward From Nowagurgh Teeba'; 'Byramghattee' by James Baillie Fraser. The price achieved of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,483.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Baillie Fraser - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Bheem Ke Udar'; 'Crossing The Touse'; 'The Valley Of The Jumna With Two Grand Peaks Of Bunderpooch'; 'The Junction Of The Touse And Pabur' Sheet 47.5 X 63Cm (18 11/16 X 24 13/16In) And Smaller. (4) Unframed, which sold at auction in September 2021 for GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,153.74).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.483,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
