Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Sunset by James Dalziel for GBP 174.00 (€ 252.39). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Dalziel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Anglers In A River Landscape, which sold at auction in March 2006 for GBP 504.00 (€ 722.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sunset von James Dalziel für GBP 174,00 (€ 252,39) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von James Dalziel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Anglers In A River Landscape beobachtet, die im März 2006 für GBP 504,00 (€ 722,14) versteigert wurde.
